His Encouragement #10- Thankful

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalm 100

God has been so good to my family, far more than we deserve. I’m so thankful for the way he protects us and provides for us. I’m thankful that I live in a country where I can still praise his name openly. I’m thankful for the husband he’s given me. I don’t know what I would do without this man in my life. I’m thankful for the precious daughter he gave us. I’m thankful that she knows and loves Him. I’m thankful for Salvation through Jesus Christ, that I didn’t have to try to earn heaven on my own, that it’s a free gift he offers to all who will accept Him. I’m thankful for my church.

What are you thankful for today?

Happy Thanksgiving from my house to yours.

Psalm 100 is one of my absolute favorite psalms! You are right- we all have so much to be thankful for today.

Today, I’m thankful for my family and food to eat. I’m even thankful that I have a kitchen to cook it in (although my cooking leaves much to be desired), But you’re right- most of all, we must be thankful for God’s love.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
